ENGLAND, Mar. 11, 2017 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 37: After a 0-0 draw with Newcastle on March 7, the Royals lost 3-0 against Preston.
Tom Barkhuizen scored dual goals
Preston dominated the first half thanks to goals from Barkhuizen ('31) and Horgan Daryl ('40). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Lilywhites further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Barkhuizen in the 49th minute.
Reading FC remains in fifth place with 64 points from 37 games, 2 points behind Leeds United FC.
