KIGALI, Jan. 16, 2016 (AMP) — Rwanda 2016 : Rwanda defeated Ivory Coast by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a CHAN group stage game on Saturday afternoon at the Amahoro Stadium in Kigali.
All the action happened in the first half, with Bayisenge goal in the 16th minute.
The result put the Rwandans top of Group A with 3 points. In their next game, Rwanda will meet Gabon at the Amahoro Stadium on January 20, while Ivory Coast will face Morocco.
