KIGALI, Jan. 20, 2016 (AMP) — Rwanda 2016 : Ivory Coast defeated Morocco by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a CHAN group stage game on Wednesday night at the Amahoro Stadium in Kigali.
All the action happened in the first half, with Zakri goal on penalty in the 45th minute.
The result put the Ivorians second in Group A with 3 points. Morocco is bottom with one point. In their last game, Ivory Coast will meet third-placed Gabon at the Amahoro Stadium on January 24, while Morocco will face Rwanda.
