GISENYI, Jan. 19, 2016 (AMP) — Rwanda 2016 : Zambia defeated Zimbabwe by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a CHAN group stage game on Tuesday afternoon at the Umuganda Stadium in Gisenyi.
45 minutes of play and neither the Zambians nor the Zimbabweans have managed to pull ahead. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with a saving goal by Chansa in the 57th minute.
The result put the Zambians top of Group D with 3 points. In their next game, Zambia will meet Uganda at the Umuganda Stadium on January 23, while Zimbabwe will face Mali.
