GISENYI, Jan. 23, 2016 (AMP) — Rwanda 2016 : Zambia defeated Uganda by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a CHAN group stage game on Saturday night at the Umuganda Stadium in Gisenyi.
All the action happened in the first half, with Katongo goal in the 41st minute.
The result put the Zambians top of Group D with 6 points. Uganda is third with one point. In their last game, Zambia will meet second-placed Mali at the Umuganda Stadium on January 27, while Uganda will face Zimbabwe.
