CHAN 2016 Qualifiers : Morocco and Tunisia play out 1-1 draw
CASABLANCA, Jun. 15, 2015 (AMP) — Rwanda 2016 (Qualifiers) : Morocco tied 1-1 with Tunisia (halftime: 0-1), in a qualifying game for the 2016 African Nations Championship (North Zone) on Monday night at the Mohammed V Stadium in Casablanca.
The Tunisians started off well by taking the lead thanks to Aouadhi in the 39th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Morocco with a saving goal from Hafidi in the 68th minute.
The result left both teams on top of the group with one point. In their next game, Tunisia will meet Libya at the Mohammed V Stadium on June 18, while Morocco will face Libya.
