CHAN 2016 Qualifiers : Libya beats Tunisia 1-0
CASABLANCA, Jun. 18, 2015 (AMP) — Rwanda 2016 (Qualifiers) : Libya defeated Tunisia by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2016 African Nations Championship (North Zone) on Thursday night at the Mohammed V Stadium in Casablanca.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with a saving goal by Al Khritli in the 75th minute.
The result put the Libyans top of the group with 3 points. Tunisia is bottom with one point. In their next game, Libya will meet third-placed Morocco at the Mohammed V Stadium on June 21, while Tunisia will face Libya.
