CASABLANCA, Jan. 13, 2018 (AMP) — Kenya 2018 : Morocco defeated Mauritania by a big score of 4-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a CHAN group stage game on Saturday night at the Mohammed V Stadium in Casablanca.
El Kaabi scored dual goals
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with goals by El Kaabi ('66, '79), Haddad ('71) and Bencharki ('90).
The result put the Moroccans top of Group A with 3 points. In their next game, Morocco will meet Guinea at the Mohammed V Stadium on January 17, while Mauritania will face Sudan.
