CHAN 2018 : Morocco defeats Guinea 3-1
CASABLANCA, Jan. 17, 2018 (AMP) — Kenya 2018 : Morocco defeated Guinea by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 1-1), in a CHAN group stage game on Wednesday afternoon at the Mohammed V Stadium in Casablanca.
El Kaabi scored tripple goals
El Kaabi opened the score in the 27th minute, before seeing Guinea catch up in the 29th minute thanks to Saïdouba Camara. 1-1 at half time. The Moroccans eventually won the game in the second period with two more goals by El Kaabi ('65, '68).
The result put the Moroccans top of Group A with 6 points. Guinea is third with no points. In their last game, Morocco will meet second-placed Sudan at the Mohammed V Stadium on January 21, while Guinea will face Mauritania.
