CHAN 2018 : Sudan beats Guinea 2-1
CASABLANCA, Jan. 14, 2018 (AMP) — Kenya 2018 : Sudan defeated Guinea by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 1-0), in a CHAN group stage game on Sunday afternoon at the Mohammed V Stadium in Casablanca.
Sudan dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Koko in the 19th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Sudaneses further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Saif Tere in the 75th minute.
The result put the Sudanese second in Group A with 3 points. In their next game, Sudan will meet Mauritania at the Mohammed V Stadium on January 17, while Guinea will face Morocco.
