TANGIER, Jan. 19, 2018 (AMP) — Kenya 2018 : Rwanda defeated Equatorial Guinea by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a CHAN group stage game on Friday night at the Ibn Batouta Stadium in Tangier.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with a saving goal by Manzi in the 66th minute.
The result put the Rwandans top of Group C with 4 points. Equatorial Guinea is bottom with no points. In their last game, Rwanda will meet third-placed Libya at the Ibn Batouta Stadium on January 23, while Equatorial Guinea will face Nigeria.
