GUAYAQUIL, Dec. 5, 1959 (AMP) — Ecuador 1959 : Brazil defeated Paraguay by a score of 3-2 (halftime: 2-0), in a Copa América final round game (Final tournament) on Saturday.

The result put the Brazilians top of the group with 3 points. In their next game, Brazil will meet Uruguay on December 12, while Paraguay will face Argentina.
