East Asian Cup 2015 : China beats North Korea 2-0
WUHAN, Aug. 5, 2015 (AMP) — China 2015 : China defeated North Korea by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a East Asian Cup final round game (Final Tournament) on Wednesday night at the Wuhan Sports Center Stadium.
China dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Yu Dabao in the 36th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Chineses further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Wang Yongpo on penalty in the 51st minute.
The result put the Chinese second in the group with 3 points. North Korea is third with 3 points. In their last game, China will meet Japan at the Wuhan Sports Center Stadium on August 9, while North Korea will face South Korea.
