LENS, Jun. 11, 2016 (AMP) — France 2016 : Switzerland defeated Albania by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a Euro group stage game on Saturday afternoon at the Stade Bollaert-Delelis in Lens.
All the action happened in the first half, with Swiss defender Fabian Schär goal in the 5th minute.
The result put the Swiss second in Group A with 3 points. In their next game, Switzerland will meet third-placed Romania at the Stade Bollaert-Delelis on June 15, while Albania will face France.
