GLENDALE, Jul. 12, 2015 (AMP) — USA 2015 : Trinidad and Tobago defeated Cuba by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a Gold Cup group stage game on Sunday afternoon at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale.
All the action happened in the first half, with goals from Bateau ('17) and Boucaud ('42).
The result put the Trinidadians top of Group C with 6 points. Cuba is bottom with no points. In their last game, Trinidad and Tobago will meet second-placed Mexico at the University of Phoenix Stadium on July 15, while Cuba will face Guatemala.
