SPAIN, Sep. 26, 2014 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 6: Two wins in a row for Celta Vigo. After their 2-1 win against Deportivo La Coruna on September 23, Celta continued their sensational form in the La Liga with a 1-0 victory over Elche this Friday.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with a saving goal by Celta Vigo forward Nolito seconds before the end of regulation.
Celta Vigo climbed to fourth place with 12 points from 6 games, only one point behind Sevilla FC, which has a game in hand.
