SPAIN, Dec. 7, 2014 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 14: Four wins in a row for Barcelona. After their success against Almeria, Sevilla and Valencia, Barca continued their sensational form in the La Liga with a 5-1 victory over Espanyol this Sunday.
Lionel Messi scored tripple goals
Espanyol forward Garcia opened the score in the 13th minute, before seeing Barcelona catch up in the 45th minute thanks to Lionel Messi. 1-1 at half time. Barca eventually won the game in the second period with four more goals by Messi ('50, '81), Piqué ('53) and Pedro ('77).
FC Barcelona remains in second place with 34 points from 14 games, 2 points behind Real Madrid.
