La Liga (Week 15) : Real Sociedad and Bilbao tied at 1-1
SPAIN, Dec. 14, 2014 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 15: The match between Real Sociedad and Athletic Bilbao ended in a 1-1 draw on Sunday.
Real Sociedad players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Mexican forward Carlos Vela in the 3rd minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Athletic Bilbao with a saving goal from Athletic Bilbao forward Óscar de Marcos in the 61st minute.
Athletic Bilbao remains in 10th place with 19 points from 15 games, one point behind SD Eibar.
