La Liga (Week 37) : Deportivo beats Levante 2-0
SPAIN, May. 17, 2015 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 37: After their 1-1 draw against Villarreal on May 9 and 1-1 draw against Athletic Bilbao on May 9, the Brancoazuis returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over Levante this Sunday.
Deportivo La Coruna dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by defender Alberto Lopo in the 21st minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Brancoazuis further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Juanfran with just 10 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Levante UD remains in 15th place with 36 points from 37 games, one point behind Getafe CF.
