SPAIN, May. 9, 2015 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 36: The match between Athletic Bilbao and Deportivo La Coruna ended in a 1-1 draw on Saturday.
Athletic Bilbao players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Athletic Bilbao forward Aritz Aduriz in the 14th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Deportivo La Coruna with a saving goal from Deportivo La Coruna defender Alberto Lopo in the 90th minute.
Athletic Bilbao are down in 8th place with 49 points from 36 games, tie on points with RCD Espanyol.
