La Liga (Week 36) : Rayo beats Getafe 2-0
SPAIN, May. 11, 2015 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 36: After their 1-1 draw against Valencia on May 3 and 1-1 draw against Espanyol on May 3, Los Franjirrojos bounced back with a 2-0 victory over Getafe this Monday.
Rayo Vallecano dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Angolan forward Manucho in the 28th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Franjirrojos further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Miku in the 73rd minute.
Rayo Vallecano de Madrid climbed to 11st place with 46 points from 36 games, only one point behind Celta Vigo.
