La Liga (Week 37) : Rayo beats Cordoba 2-1
SPAIN, May. 17, 2015 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 37: Two wins in a row for Rayo Vallecano. After their 2-0 win against Getafe on May 11, Los Franjirrojos continued their sensational form in the La Liga with a 2-1 victory over Cordoba this Sunday.
Rayo Vallecano dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by midfielder Raúl Baena in the 21st minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Franjirrojos further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Embarba in the 78th minute.
Rayo Vallecano de Madrid climbed to 10th place with 49 points from 37 games, tie on points with RCD Espanyol.
