La Liga (Week 37) : Bilbao defeats Elche 3-2
SPAIN, May. 17, 2015 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 37: After three straigth draws, Los Leones bounced back with a 3-2 victory over Elche this Sunday.
Elche had started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Jonathas ('32, '45). Trailing 2-0 at half time, Los Leones nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring three times in the second period (Aketxe '80, San Jose '87 and Williams '90).
Athletic Bilbao climbed to 7th place with 52 points from 37 games, 8 points behind Villarreal CF.
