La Liga (Week 25) : Levante defeats Getafe 3-0
SPAIN, Feb. 19, 2016 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 25: After three straigth defeats, Les Granotes returned to winning ways with a 3-0 victory over Getafe this Friday.
Levante dominated the first half thanks to goals from Morales Jose ('10) and Rossi ('43 on penalty). Leading 2-0 at the break, Les Granotes further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Verdu Joan with just 9 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Getafe CF remains in 13rd place with 26 points from 25 games, 2 points behind Valencia CF, which has a game in hand.
