La Liga (Week 25) : Rayo hold Sevilla to 2-2
SPAIN, Feb. 21, 2016 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 25: Sevilla was held to a 2-2 draw by Rayo Vallecano on Sunday.
Sevilla players started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by N Zonzi Steven ('10) and Iborra ('20) while Rayo Vallecano only scored once Manucho Alberto ('43). However, even though they were leading 2-1 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Rayo Vallecano with a saving goal from Miku Fedor Flores in the 62nd minute.
Sevilla FC remains in fifth place with 41 points from 25 games, 7 points behind Villarreal CF, which has a game in hand.
