La Liga (Week 24) : Gijon and Rayo play out 2-2 draw
SPAIN, Feb. 12, 2016 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 24: The match between Sporting Gijon and Rayo Vallecano ended in a 2-2 draw on Friday.
Sporting Gijon players started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Guerrero Miguel ('5) and Halilovic Alen ('45) while Rayo Vallecano only scored once Miku Fedor Flores ('40). However, even though they were leading 2-1 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Rayo Vallecano with a saving goal from Rayo Vallecano midfielder Jozabed in the 58th minute.
Rayo Vallecano de Madrid remains in 15th place with 24 points from 24 games, one point behind Real Betis, which has a game in hand.
