La Liga (Week 24) : Real Madrid beats Bilbao 4-2
SPAIN, Feb. 13, 2016 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 24: Three wins in a row for Real Madrid. After their success against Espanyol and Granada, Los Blancos continued their sensational form in the La Liga with a 4-2 victory over Athletic Bilbao this Saturday.
Cristiano Ronaldo scored dual goals
Real Madrid dominated the first half thanks to goals from Ronaldo ('3), Rodríguez ('37) and Kroos ('45). Leading 3-1 at the break, Los Blancos further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Ronaldo with just 3 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Real Madrid climbed to second place with 53 points from 24 games, only one point behind FC Barcelona, which has two games in hand.
