La Liga (Week 23) : Real Madrid beats Granada 2-1
SPAIN, Feb. 7, 2016 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 23: Two wins in a row for Real Madrid. After their 6-0 win against Espanyol on January 31, Los Blancos continued their sensational form in the La Liga with a 2-1 victory over Granada this Sunday.
Real Madrid dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by French forward Karim Benzema in the 30th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Blancos further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Modrić with just 5 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Real Madrid remains in third place with 50 points from 23 games, one point behind Atletico Madrid.
