La Liga (Week 22) : Real Madrid beats Espanyol 6-0
SPAIN, Jan. 31, 2016 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 22: After their 1-1 draw against Real Betis on January 24, Los Blancos returned to winning ways with a 6-0 victory over Espanyol this Sunday.
Cristiano Ronaldo scored tripple goals
Real Madrid dominated the first half thanks to goals from Benzema ('7), Ronaldo ('12 on penalty, '45) and Rodríguez ('16). Leading 4-0 at the break, Los Blancos further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Ronaldo '82 and Duarte '86/own).
Real Madrid remains in third place with 47 points from 22 games, one point behind Atletico Madrid.
