La Liga (Week 22) : Sevilla beats Levante 3-1
SPAIN, Jan. 31, 2016 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 22: After their 0-0 draw against Atletico Madrid on January 24, Los Sevillistas returned to winning ways with a 3-1 victory over Levante this Sunday.
Sevilla dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by French forward Kevin Gameiro in the 1st minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Sevillistas further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Iborra '47 and Konoplyanka Yevhen '76).
Sevilla FC climbed to fifth place with 36 points from 22 games, 8 points behind Villarreal CF.
