La Liga (Week 22) : Malaga defeats Eibar 2-1
SPAIN, Jan. 30, 2016 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 22: After losing 2-1 to Sevilla on January 23 and 1-2 to Barcelona on January 23, Los Boquerones bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Eibar this Saturday.
Malaga dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Venezuelan forward Juanpi Pablo Acosta in the 45th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Boquerones further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Santa Cruz Roque in stoppage time.
SD Eibar are down in 7th place with 33 points from 22 games, one point behind Celta Vigo, which has a game in hand.
