La Liga (Week 22) : Deportivo and Rayo play to a 2-2 draw
SPAIN, Feb. 1, 2016 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 22: The match between Deportivo La Coruna and Rayo Vallecano ended in a 2-2 draw on Monday.
Rayo Vallecano players started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Miku Fedor Flores ('8) and Jozabed Ruiz ('23) while Deportivo La Coruna only scored once Perez Lucas ('19). However, even though they were leading 2-1 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Deportivo La Coruna with a saving goal from French midfielder Fayçal Fajr in the 46th minute.
Deportivo La Coruna remains in 9th place with 30 points from 22 games, 3 points behind SD Eibar.
