La Liga (Week 23) : Rayo defeats Las Palmas 2-0
SPAIN, Feb. 6, 2016 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 23: After their 2-2 draw against Deportivo La Coruna on February 1, Los Franjirrojos returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over Las Palmas this Saturday.
Rayo Vallecano dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Miku Fedor Flores in the 3rd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Franjirrojos further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Bebe Tiago Manuel in the 74th minute.
Rayo Vallecano de Madrid climbed to 14th place with 23 points from 23 games, only one point behind Real Sociedad, which has a game in hand.
