La Liga (Week 23) : Celta Vigo and Sevilla play to a 1-1 draw
SPAIN, Feb. 7, 2016 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 23: Sevilla was held to a 1-1 draw by Celta Vigo on Sunday.
Sevilla players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Portuguese defender Daniel Carriço in the 43rd minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Celta Vigo with a saving goal from French midfielder Claudio Beauvue in the 64th minute.
Sevilla FC remains in fifth place with 37 points from 23 games, 8 points behind Villarreal CF.
