La Liga (Week 23) : Barcelona defeats Levante 2-0
SPAIN, Feb. 7, 2016 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 23: Five wins in a row for Barcelona. After their success against Granada, Athletic Bilbao, Malaga and Atletico Madrid, Barca continued their sensational form in the La Liga with a 2-0 victory over Levante this Sunday.
Barcelona dominated the first half as a result of the unfortunate own goal scored by defender David Navarro in the 21st minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Barca further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Suárez in stoppage time.
FC Barcelona remains in first place with 54 points from 22 games, a 3-point lead over runner-up Atletico Madrid.
