La Liga (Week 22) : Las Palmas beats Celta Vigo 2-1
SPAIN, Jan. 31, 2016 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 22: Celta crashed to their 2nd consecutive defeat as they lost 2-1 against Las Palmas.
Celta Vigo forward Theo Bongonda opened the score in the 5th minute, before seeing Las Palmas catch up in the 33rd minute thanks to Viera Jonathan penalty kick. 1-1 at half time. Los Amarillos eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by José seconds before the end of regulation.
Celta Vigo are down in 7th place with 34 points from 22 games, tie on points with Athletic Bilbao.
