La Liga (Week 22) : Real Sociedad beats Betis 2-1
SPAIN, Jan. 30, 2016 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 22: After losing 5-1 to Sporting Gijon on January 22, La Real bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Real Betis this Saturday.
Real Sociedad dominated the first half thanks to goals from Prieto Xabi ('18) and Martínez ('33). Leading 2-0 at the break, La Real further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by in the th minute.
Real Sociedad climbed to 13rd place with 24 points from 22 games, only one point behind Valencia CF, which has a game in hand.
