La Liga (Week 21) : Betis and Real Madrid play to a 1-1 draw
SPAIN, Jan. 24, 2016 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 21: Real Madrid was held to a 1-1 draw by Real Betis on Sunday.
Real Betis players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Real Betis midfielder Álvaro Cejudo in the 7th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Real Madrid with a saving goal from French forward Karim Benzema in the 71st minute.
Real Madrid remains in third place with 44 points from 21 games, 4 points behind Atletico Madrid.
