La Liga (Week 24) : Deportivo draw 2-2 with Betis
SPAIN, Feb. 13, 2016 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 24: The match between Deportivo La Coruna and Real Betis ended in a 2-2 draw on Saturday.
Real Betis players started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Musonda Charly ('20) and Vargas Juan ('38) while Deportivo La Coruna only scored once Bergantiños ('15). However, even though they were leading 2-1 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Deportivo La Coruna with a saving goal from French midfielder Fayçal Fajr in the 51st minute.
Deportivo La Coruna remains in 9th place with 32 points from 24 games, one point behind SD Eibar, which has a game in hand.
