La Liga (Week 25) : Malaga hold Real Madrid to 1-1
SPAIN, Feb. 21, 2016 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 25: Real Madrid was held to a 1-1 draw by Malaga on Sunday.
Real Madrid players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Portuguese forward Cristiano Ronaldo in the 33rd minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Malaga with a saving goal from Malaga defender Raúl Albentosa in the 66th minute.
Real Madrid climbed to second place with 54 points from 25 games, 9 points behind FC Barcelona.
