La Liga (Week 34) : Barcelona beats Deportivo 8-0
SPAIN, Apr. 20, 2016 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 34: After three straigth defeats, Barca returned to winning ways with a 8-0 victory over Deportivo La Coruna this Wednesday.
Luis Suárez served up another goal feast
Barcelona dominated the first half thanks to goals from Suárez ('11, '24). Leading 2-0 at the break, Barca further widened their lead in the second period by scoring six times (Rakitić '47, Suárez '53, '64, Messi '73, Bartra '79 and Neymar '81).
FC Barcelona remains in first place with 79 points from 34 games, a 3-point lead over runner-up Atletico Madrid, which has a game in hand.
