La Liga (Week 11) : Malaga beats Gijon 3-2
SPAIN, Nov. 4, 2016 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 11: After losing 4-2 to Atletico Madrid on October 29, Los Boquerones bounced back with a 3-2 victory over Sporting Gijon this Friday.
Sporting Gijon forward Viguera Borja opened the score in the 13th minute, before seeing Malaga catch up in the 45th minute thanks to Fornals Pablo. 1-1 at half time. Los Boquerones eventually won the game in the second period with two more goals by Ramírez ('65) and Santos Michael ('78).
Malaga CF climbed to 9th place with 15 points from 11 games, tie on points with SD Eibar, which has a game in hand.
