La Liga (Week 13) : Las Palmas beats Bilbao 3-1
SPAIN, Nov. 28, 2016 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 13: After losing 2-0 to Real Betis on November 18, Los Amarillos bounced back with a 3-1 victory over Athletic Bilbao this Monday.
Las Palmas dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Ghanaian forward Kevin-Prince Boateng in the 40th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Amarillos further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Momo Jeronimo '50 and Viera Jonathan '90).
Athletic Bilbao are down in 8th place with 20 points from 13 games, one point behind SD Eibar.
