La Liga (Week 13) : Malaga beats Deportivo 4-3
SPAIN, Nov. 26, 2016 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 13: After their 0-0 draw against Barcelona on November 19, Los Boquerones returned to winning ways with a 4-3 victory over Deportivo La Coruna this Saturday.
Santos Michael scored dual goals
Deportivo La Coruna opened the score in the score in the 4th minute thanks to Celso Borges on penalty, before Malaga regained the advantage with Santos Michael ('21 on penalty) and Ramírez ('40). Leading 2-1 at the break, Los Boquerones further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Santos Michael '56 and Ontiveros Javi '90).
Malaga CF climbed to 9th place with 19 points from 13 games, only one point behind Athletic Bilbao, which has a game in hand.
