SPAIN, Apr. 27, 2017 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 34: Three wins in a row for Athletic Bilbao. After their success against Las Palmas and Eibar, Los Leones continued their sensational form in the La Liga with a 2-1 victory over Real Betis this Thursday.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with goals by Aduriz ('53 on penalty) and Muniain ('60).
Athletic Bilbao remains in 6th place with 59 points from 34 games, one point behind Villarreal CF.
