La Liga (Week 35) : Alavés defeats Betis 4-1
SPAIN, Apr. 30, 2017 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 35: After their 1-1 draw against Las Palmas on April 27 and 0-0 draw against Eibar on April 27, Los Babazorros bounced back with a 4-1 victory over Real Betis this Sunday.
Real Betis had started off well by taking the lead in the 12th minute with a goal by midfielder Rubén Pardo. Trailing 1-0 at half time, Los Babazorros nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring four times in the second period (Krstičić '49, Sobrino Ruben '54, Santos Christian '58 and Katai Aleksandar '90).
Deportivo Alavés remains in 10th place with 48 points from 35 games, 2 points behind RCD Espanyol.
