La Liga (Week 35) : Real Sociedad beats Granada 2-1
SPAIN, Apr. 29, 2017 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 35: Three wins in a row for Real Sociedad. After their success against Deportivo La Coruna and Valencia, La Real continued their sensational form in the La Liga with a 2-1 victory over Granada this Saturday.
Real Sociedad dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Mexican forward Carlos Vela in the 45th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, La Real further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Jimenez Juanmi with just 6 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Real Sociedad climbed to 6th place with 61 points from 35 games, 2 points behind Villarreal CF.
