La Liga (Week 36) : Sevilla and Real Sociedad play out 1-1 draw
SPAIN, May. 5, 2017 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 36: Sevilla was held to a 1-1 draw by Real Sociedad on Friday.
Sevilla players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Sevilla midfielder Pablo Sarabia in the 41st minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Real Sociedad with a saving goal from Mexican forward Carlos Vela in the 61st minute.
Sevilla FC remains in fourth place with 69 points from 36 games, 2 points behind Atletico Madrid, which has a game in hand.
