SPAIN, May. 6, 2017 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 36: After losing 3-1 to Villarreal on April 28, Los Rojiblancos returned to winning ways with a 1-0 victory over Las Palmas this Saturday.
Las Palmas made Sporting Gijon doubt themselves for forty-five minutes. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with a saving goal by Carmona Carlos in the 67th minute.
UD Las Palmas remains in 14th place with 39 points from 36 games, one point behind Valencia CF, which has a game in hand.
