SPAIN, May. 6, 2017 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 36: Two wins in a row for Atletico Madrid. After their 0-5 win against Las Palmas on April 29, Los Colchoneros continued their sensational form in the La Liga with a 1-0 victory over Eibar this Saturday.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with a saving goal by Atletico Madrid midfielder Saúl Ñiguez in the 69th minute.
Atletico Madrid remains in third place with 74 points from 36 games, 7 points behind Real Madrid, which has two games in hand.
